Who we are looking for:

The ideal applicant will be detail oriented, responsible and be able to work independently in various sections of the library. Bilingual, English/Spanish, applicant preferred.

 

Schedule and Wage Information:

Page shifts are typically 2 to 3 evenings a week from 4 pm to 7 pm and 2 to 3 Saturdays a month from 10 am to 3 pm. The hourly rate for this position is $9.00.

Ages 15 and older may apply.

 

About the Job:

Circulation pages shelve materials, maintain the order and appearance of the book stacks, public areas in the library and otherwise help prepare the library facilities for program use. Pages may assist at the circulation desk, pull holds for patrons, apply acquired knowledge to help customers locate materials and assist with a variety of other library tasks. The work requires an understanding of how the library is organized. The work performed is subject to review through observation, reports and the results achieved.
