The KJM Library will issue a library card free of charge to any Wisconsin resident.

All applicants must present identification, which is proof of name and current address. Acceptable proof includes a Wisconsin driver’s license, Wisconsin ID card, passport, and military ID. If any ID does not have a current address, then an official piece of mail (such as a utility bill, rent receipt, or bank statement) with a Wisconsin Address is required to be issued a library card. Other acceptable identification is at the discretion of the library staff.

All eligible applicants must complete a short application form for Library Borrower Privileges in library.

An individual 17 years of age or younger must have a guardian/parental signature on the completed application form.

You are responsible for material checked out on your library card, including material checked out on it by others unless you report the loss of your card.

Replacing a Lost Card
$1.00 for the first replacement card
$2.00 for any subsequent replacements

Already have a library card? We accept cards from Jefferson and Waukesha Counties!
