Summer Reading Program 2021 – June 7 – July 30

In Beanstack, you can view the available activities, enter your reading progress, write book reviews and more. You will receive prizes as you progress and be entered into drawings at the end of the summer. Click HERE to get more details on using Beanstack. REGISTRATION begins May 24! *Note: For those that don’t have internet access, a paper form of the summer program can be provided.

Take & Make—ages 12 to 18 Pick up an activity bag at the library with craft supplies and directions. While supplies last. Available beginning: June 7, June 21, July 5, and July 19

Neighborhood Scavenger Hunt—ages teen and younger (June 7—July 30) Pick up a weekly scavenger hunt sheet at the library’s front desk, or print it off from the library’s website, and find everything listed while you walk around Waterloo! Once you’ve found all the items, fill out your first and last name on the scavenger hunt sheet and return it in the library’s outside book drop, or at the front desk. Youth Services Librarian, Mrs. Amanda, will then enter the activity for you to earn the weekly badge!

Summer Celebration—July 31 at 11:00am—1:00pm

Celebrate your summer reading accomplishments with snow cones, games and more! Grand prize winners from all age categories will also be announced.
